How MLP works

Each match is four lines — men’s doubles, women’s doubles and two mixed — and a 2–2 split goes to a Dreambreaker, three consecutive singles matches to a combined 21 with players rotating on. The regular season runs May to August across nine city events, scored on Super Sunday finish; the top 12 reach a three-week playoff. The Nations Cup (Dallas, 30 October to 1 November) is a separate international team event.
